We believe our substitute teachers are critical for the continuance of the learning process when our classroom teachers are absent.  Whether substitute teachers are giving direct instruction, monitoring students or assisting staff, they ensure the day is purposeful and productive.

Education: According to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, substitute teachers must have a minimum of 60 college credit hours to qualify for a substitute certificate. 

Certification:  A Missouri Teaching Certificate or eligibility for a teaching certificate is preferred. Must be eligible for a substitute certificate.

Experience:  Preferred.

Benefits: Not Eligible.

FLSA Status:  Exempt, Professional Exemption-Teacher.
